With several sub-topics, all of them interrelated: complex fluids, smart fluids, multiphase flows and biofluids. Over the years the simple organization structure of CEFT has been adequate for smooth operation and to quickly solve both personal and technical problems, because of its limited size and near daily contact of most of its members. With particular emphasis on cleaner fuels, such as natural gas and biomass, as well as to issues pertaining to the carbon problem, and the hydrogen economy, such as the optimization and development of fuel cell technology and systems for hydrogen production and storage.
