João Mário Miranda is FCT Assistant Researcher at CEFT-FEUP at the Transport Phenomena Research Center (CEFT), Chemical Engineering Department, Engineering Faculty, University of Porto, Portugal. Current research activities are in the interface between fluid dynamics and biological applications. The main topics are biomimetic fluids, microcirculation, two phase flows in microdevices, hemodynamics, cell trapping and detection, biofouling and cell adhesion.
